Rain

And the Rain Rain came down down down and piglet started sinking...
My 4 year old brother sings as he runs down the stairs this morning.
It has been raining all night here and is supposed to rain all day today.

I look out the window its still poring

All our gardens are flooded.

After lunch i run out side with my dad's camera.
Its pooring
I run around the house takeing pictures
Getting soaked

The two 30 gallon garbage cans we set out are full of water.

But all this rain has made us stay inside
so i decided to sew

Psalm 147:1-9

1 Praise the Lord.[a]
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6 The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
8 He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
9 He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.

Thanks For Reading

Can you See it.

Some Days I get so wrapped up in ME.
MY wants
MY worries
MY "needs"

Then i need to step back from me. And look around.
Can you see it.
Can you see the needs of your neighbor?
Can you see others hurts?
Can you see their excitements?
Can you see their dreams?

Today try to step back and SEE.

Frost

I was out with my brother.

 When i looked up and saw this. And then i just had to grab the camera.

Then i climbed a tree to see if things looked different from up there.

Things did look different.

Thank you Lord for trees and frost
And your ever love.

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23

Worship

A night filled with worship.

Singing with friends.

On the way home I looked out the window a lamppost stood in the middle of a dark field.

That's what we should be.

A light.

Even in the darkest paces.

A light.

One way we are a light is though worship.

Here is one of my new favorite songs.

Waiting here for you. Christy Nockels

Another reson to share the gosple

For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
How then will they call on him in whom they have not belived?
And how are they to belive in him in whom they have never heard?
And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
And how are they to preach unless they are sent?
"As it is writen,
Beatuifull are the feet
of those who preach the
good news!"

Romans 10:13-15

On Rough Seas, By Nancy L.Hull

On rough seas is a book about a 14 year old boy named Alec in England who wants to be a sailor.
 but with the Nazis attacking France just across the English channel becoming a sailor is very dangerous. Then one day news reaches them that 300'000 English soldiers are stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk France. And that all boats large and small must come to their rescue. This is a good book about courage, but one thing I didn't like about it was that alec and his father argue alot.
Summary:
Age: 12+
Violence: Alecs best friend dies in the first chapter, and there is a battle that is slightly discriptive, and kina gross
Rateing: 7it had a moral that I though was good
Bad/hard parts: Alec argues with his dad, his friend dies in an accedent on the English channel.
Words: there are two sialors who are rough and some times say minor bad words.

Altogether its a pretty good book.

WWII Books

Hi friends!

I'm going to start a new series of blogs
that are WWII nonfiction and historical fiction book reviews.
so
here we go!!!!

Narnia, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. By.C.S.Lewis

Although this book isn't a historical fiction or nonfiction book, I count it as a WWII book.
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is a book about four kids in England during WWII who discover a different world called Narnia.although most of the book happens in Narnia the beginning of the book shows what life was like for kids in England who were moved to different homes to escape the German bombs in London.
If you don't like to read or have a long car ride ahead the Focus on the Family Audio production  of this is amazing!!!

Age recommendation= audio 7+  Read 8/9+
Category = fantasy
Rating= 10 Amazing book!!
Violence=  Battle and stone table scene
                                                  Bad/hard parts= The Stone Table in chap. 14-15 is emotionally hard.

I hope you enjoy this book!!!
